There is evidence foxes in Tasmania are moving south. Fox scats have been found near Cygnet south of Hobart. The Primary Industries Minister David Llewellyn told parliament two scats had tested positive for fox DNA this week. He says further tests would be carried out and there will be more detection work in the area. Mr LLewellyn says it is the furthest south that evidence of foxes has been found.
